Springfield, Missouri Maternity Photography Session at Shea Brianne Studio – Mathews Maternity

I have come to realize within developing my niche that I adore doing maternity sessions. I desire to use my style to tell beautiful, confident, and intimate mother-to-be stories. More than my usual cute maternity images, and more than just belly-portraits, even though I love those kinds of images, I wanted to push myself to make something more visually profound. There are so many emotions that came to mind when I was visualizing this shoot with Samantha and her husband, Dan. Becoming a mother has an air of strength to it, but there is also so much vulnerability and intimacy. Looking through Sam’s finished images, I can’t find one single word to describe the freshness and hope that new motherhood must bring. So instead of describing, I’ll share these images that hopefully speak what I experienced during our shoot.
