Okay, this engagement shoot was totally different than what I normally lean to and I LOVED it!
Annie came to me with a unique idea for her and Caden’s engagement shoot. She showed me a photo of a couple dressed in black/white suits against a black backdrop in a studio. Now I will say, I was like– this is awesome! But I have never done this!
Thank goodness we have a fantastic indoor studio in town called Lightbox! We booked a time slot and prepared for the shoot.
That day, we questioned whether the weather would hold out as there was tornadoes, hail, and rain in the forecast. Yikes! However, the sky was looking just fine, so we powered through. The studio portion of the shoot went awesome! But when we arrived to the second location, the lake, the wind was blowing SO HARD. The sky was dark and honestly, I was a little intimidated!
However, I decided to vibe a moody film look and roll with is. I ended up LOVING these images! I am so glad I was challenged that day. Annie and Caden, we can’t wait for your big day at Greenhouse Two Rivers!
