Marissa & Edwin | Romantic Puerto Vallarta, Mexico Wedding

One month ago, we were in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico at the Nahui Beach Club shooting Marissa and Edwin’s beautiful wedding. The sun was bright and the colors were so vibrant everywhere we looked. Our bride, Marissa, absolutely loves flowers, and so the decor was simply cascading with soft pinks and creams– perfectly elegant. And the groom was quite the fashionable man, if you can’t tell from these photos!

We started the day at Marival Resort. What I loved about this part of the day was watching Marissa interact with her friends interact. I could tell that Marissa had a big heart and was just such a kind woman. She and her friends were having fun together, sipping on wine and talking about memories, looking at the gift Edwin had bought for Marissa, and they even celebrated a little more with some incredible confetti poppers! Every single moment was fun and exciting!

The ceremony spot was a short ride away from the resort. When we arrived, it was like stepping into the pages of BRIDES magazine; the floral wall backdrop where they were to say their vows was literally a piece of artwork, and every detail had been attended to– including the tequila and margarita tasting bar! But, as if that weren’t enough, we walked to the edge of the cliff where the ceremony was being set up and looked out over the sweet blue ocean. Talk about paradise!

At one point in the day, Marissa told me something around the lines that she is typically a very structured person, but that when she gets near the ocean, something inside her comes alive and feels free and spirited. And I could see that the entire day– the smile never left her face and she was excited for every moment that passed! And I could feel it too; with the waves crashing and the fun music playing throughout the night, it was a truly a wedding to remember!
