Ericka & Peter – Springfield, Missouri Engagement Session

These two go together like peanut butter and jelly. It’s wonderful, though often rare, for a session to feel more like a date than a session. These two are clearly in love. They cuddled, danced, and laughed the whole time. They took direction like pros, but really, they hardly needed any direction from me because they were so natural with their affection. Nothing was manufactured or forced. It just was. Couples who have a love like this are a gift to photograph, because you truly feel like you are capturing the essence of their love. Not just a photo for their save the date, not just a well-done pose that’s flattering and cute–but photos where you can just feel the affection for one another in their smiles and the joyfulness that true love brings in their giggles. This is Ericka and Peter, and after this session, I cannot wait to photograph their wedding in September. I know it’s going to be a beautiful day of happy tears, lots of laughing, and full out partying.
