I really like engagement sessions, but I especially really like engagement sessions that involve hiking and beautiful views! This beautiful bride-to-be, Emma, said that she and her fiancé, Zach, wanted a location that showed off the scenery of Arkansas. I naturally thought of Devil’s Den in Fayetteville! This short hike leads to a couple of cliffs that overlook a river and show a large expanse of trees. It’s romantic, organic, wide open– it’s one of my favorite spots! So I was really excited for this session!
As if the location wasn’t enough, let me talk about Emma and Zach. While we haven’t known each other that long, I can already tell I really like these two. They were up for anything, ready to hike, ready to go, and laughed their whole session! Talk about making it easy on us! I loved watching Zach grab and tickle Emma and seeing her gorgeous dimple pop up just in time for the perfect photo! Emma is in the fitness and wellness industry (I personally was a little out of breath on the hike, but she wasn’t haha), and Zach is a graduate assistant in the athletic department at UA. A match made in heaven, these two will be getting married in Mississippi this August and I cannot wait to be a part of it!
For now, enjoy their cliffside engagement session and join me in anticipating spring! If you look, you can see bits of green starting to pop out in these photos!
